We wanted to send you the most recent information we’ve received from Platinum regarding their Covid guidelines.

There is a lot of pertinent information in this e-mail. Please read over carefully.

WAIVER:  It is required that every dancer/parent sign a waiver before attending the event.  This waiver was sent to you individually in a separate e-mail. If you have not filled out the waiver, we recommend doing so as soon as possible.

COVID PROTOCOLS FROM PLATINUM:

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:  Because of extra cleaning requirements throughout the event and to ensure everyone’s safety, it is imperative that everyone adhere to the precautions and guidelines put in place.  We ask that anyone that is not feeling well stay home and watch the Livestream.  Face masks must be worn at all times when in the facility, except by the dancers onstage, no exceptions.   Hand sanitizer will be located throughout the facility and on both sides of the backstage area, regular cleaning of common areas will also be conducted throughout the day.  At the end of your session, we ask that you clear out of the dressing room and bring all your stuff into the auditorium for the adjudication awards ceremonies.  This way we are able to start the cleaning process in the dressing room.  Once your awards session is over, we ask that you exit the auditorium completely so we can then clean the auditorium area.  No one is allowed in the dressing room areas or auditorium where it indicates “clean facility” on the schedule.

DRESSING ROOMS:  Because of social distancing requirements we are assigning dressing rooms.  Dressing room assignments will be clearly marked when you arrive at the facility.  You will also be able to get dressing room assignment information at retail.

OVERALL AWARDS:  Because of Block Scheduling, all Champions of the Category, Overall Winners, Title Finalists, etc. will be announced during a Final awards ceremony Sunday evening.  For these Final Awards on Sunday evening, only Studio Directors/Representatives and Teachers are allowed as spectators because of limited capacities.  The Final Awards will be livestreamed.  Studio Owners/Representatives will be able to pick up their Overall Awards following this ceremony. (Ms. Andrea & Ms. Michelle will attend this ceremony and pick up any additional awards.)
